Bookings and Payment Methods
Le esperienze di caccia al tartufo nella nostra riserva sono soggette a prenotazione obbligatoria per garantire il rispetto dell’ambiente e la qualità del servizio.
Please note: Your booking is only considered confirmed once you have received our official confirmation email.
Payment Methods: For your convenience, we accept payments by major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) and cash paid directly at our premises on the day of the experience.
Purchase of the Product: Any purchase of fresh truffles is subject to the same payment terms and is based on current market prices.
Cancellation and Bad Weather Policy
Cancellation: Please let us know if you need to cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment.
Bad weather: Hunting takes place outdoors. In the event of adverse weather conditions that could compromise safety or the integrity of the reserve, we reserve the right to cancel the outing. In this case, we will agree on a new date together or issue a full refund if payment has already been made.
The Nature of Experience
Truffles are a wild and unpredictable product. Although our reserve is a well-maintained and productive truffle ground, nature does not always guarantee that we will find any on every outing.
The experience focuses on training, the dogs’ work and the thrill of the search.
Any truffles found during the hunt remain the property of the reserve, but participants may purchase them at the end of the activity.
Safety and Clothing in the Woods
For your safety and to ensure you enjoy your day in Montalcino to the full:
Footwear: We recommend wearing hiking boots, wellington boots or closed-toe shoes with non-slip soles.
Dogs: To avoid interfering with the sense of smell and work of our Lagotto Romagnoli dogs, you are not permitted to bring your own dogs into the reserve.
Respect for the environment: It is forbidden to dig without authorisation, damage the flora or leave litter behind. All digging must be carried out exclusively by staff so as not to damage the tree roots.
Allergies and Liability
Tastings: If you book an experience that includes a tasting, please inform us in good time of any food allergies or intolerances.
Liability: The management accepts no liability for damage to personal belongings or minor injuries resulting from careless behaviour or failure to follow the instructions given by the truffle hunters.
